Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Nesting Engineer based in Ahmedabad. The Nesting Engineer will be responsible for preparing and optimizing cutting plans for steel sheets and materials to minimize waste and enhance efficiency. Additional responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, performing quality checks, coordinating with the production team, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications

• Expertise in CAD software and nesting software for creating and optimizing cutting plans
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management
• Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with the production team
• Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
