Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Backend Developer

with a deep understanding of

Neo4j

and

Knowledge Graphs

, strong proficiency in

TypeScript

, and hands-on experience with

modern development tools and workflows

. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that leverage graph databases to power intelligent applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain
graph-based data models
using
Neo4j
.
Develop and optimize backend services and APIs using
TypeScript (Node.js)
.
Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and frontend developers to build end-to-end features.
Integrate external data sources and manage large-scale data ingestion into the knowledge graph.
Implement graph-based querying and inference using
Cypher
and
GraphQL (if applicable)
.
Build scalable, well-tested, and documented APIs and services.
Utilize
modern development tools
(e.g., Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks).
Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, scalability, and security.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience with
Neo4j
,
Cypher query language
, and
knowledge graph modeling
.
Experience in
backend development
using
TypeScript
and
Node.js
.
Deep understanding of
RESTful APIs
,
GraphQL
, or other API protocols.
Proficient in designing and managing microservices and modular architectures.
Strong knowledge of
modern development tools
: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Experience with
unit and integration testing
(e.g., Jest, Mocha, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
