Job Description – NDT Level II QC Engineer (Tube & Pipe – ERW / Precision)

Position: NDT Level II QC Engineer
Experience: Minimum 6 Years
Salary: ₹80,000 per month
Location: [Insert – Gandhidham / Bachau, Kutch, Gujarat]

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform NDT inspections (UT, RT, MT, PT as per certification) for ERW & Precision Tube/Pipe production.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM, ISO, IBR, and customer-specific quality standards.
• Monitor welding quality, detect surface & sub-surface defects, and evaluate results.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Prepare NDT reports, maintain quality records, and support customer audits.
• Collaborate with production & maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring defects.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy / relevant field.
• NDT Level II certification in UT, RT, MT, PT (any two or more methods preferred).
• 6+ years of QC/NDT experience in Tube / Pipe (ERW & Precision) manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgical properties, and quality standards.
• Good reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
