Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify and assess potential risks, including strategic, operational, financial, technology and compliance risks.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize potential losses.
Monitor and report on risk management activities, including providing regular updates to senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.
Develop and maintain the organization's risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and manage risks and provide training and guidance on risk management best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and ensure organization-wide compliance with regulations
Conduct regular audits and monitoring to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

CA, Masters Degree (Mathematics, Analytics preferred)
15+ years of experience in BFSI Industry in Risk Management.
Experience in Enterprise / Operational Risk Management.
Professional certifications in ERM, Fraud Risk or related areas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
