Looking for an experienced Database Administrator (5+ yrs) to own and optimize our database infrastructure and reporting systems.
🔹 Role: Database Administrator
📍 Location: Remote (India-based)
🧠 Experience: 5+ years
What You’ll Do:
>Design and maintain dedicated reporting systems using MySQL
>Optimize database performance with query tuning, indexing, and partitioning
>Reduce load on production systems and enhance reporting performance
>Manage database migrations across various engines
>Monitor health, ensure backup, recovery, and security best practices
>Collaborate with developers to streamline application–database interactions
What We’re Looking For:
>4+ years hands-on with MySQL (Mandatory) and advanced SQL
>Proven query optimization and profiling expertise
>Experience with AWS RDS, partitioning, and reporting system design
>Experience with Redshift / Aurora DB / Data Warehousing tools
>Strong understanding of database performance tuning
>Familiarity with Sequelize / NodeJS ORMs
>Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB, DocumentDB)
>Exposure to DevOps and infrastructure as code
