The ideal candidate will foster creativity, musical skills, and an appreciation for music through engaging lessons, performances, and co-curricular activities. Key Responsibilities: Teach general music to students across primary and/or middle school levels Plan and deliver lessons covering vocal music, rhythm, instruments, and basic theory Introduce students to various music styles, traditions, and cultures Organize and prepare students for assemblies, concerts, and special events Foster creativity, expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music Use varied teaching methods to engage students with different learning styles Maintain classroom instruments and manage music resources Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with colleagues for cross-disciplinary activities and performances Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related field Recognized teaching certification (B.Ed., Diploma in Music Education, etc.) Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting Proficiency in vocal music and/or at least one musical instrument Skills and Attributes: Passion for music and teaching young learners Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to inspire creativity and self-expression in students Familiarity with school performance planning and music curriculum design Collaborative, enthusiastic, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment
