Role Description

Casentra Global is seeking a Music Director for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. As a Music Director, you will lead and oversee musical productions, create arrangements, conduct rehearsals, and ensure the highest quality of musical and creative outcomes. You will collaborate with performers, composers, music educators, and production teams to deliver engaging and impactful performances. Responsibilities include fostering a passion for music, developing musical programs, and ensuring seamless execution of performances.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Music Theory and Music Education
• Skills in Music Production, including composition and arrangement
• Experience with Church Music, including knowledge of hymns and liturgical music
• General expertise and passion for Music across multiple genres
• Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to mentor and inspire musicians
• Relevant degree in Music or related field preferred
• Background in managing musical ensembles or productions is an advantage
