MuleSoft Senior Developer (Bengaluru)

Role Overview:

Burns & McDonnell India is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Lead Developer to design, develop, and lead enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role involves technical leadership, solution design, development, and collaboration with architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
• Define and implement API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs).
• Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to MuleSoft developers.
• Ensure best practices for coding standards, error handling, logging, and performance.
• Design and implement security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, client ID enforcement).
• Handle API lifecycle management including RAML design, versioning, and documentation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment promotions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure quality and reusability.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Participate in estimations, planning, and technical decision-making.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
• Expertise in DataWeave 2.0.
• Experience with API design using RAML.
• Knowledge of integration patterns (sync/async, pub-sub, batch, pagination).
• Experience with Anypoint Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange.
• Understanding of security standards (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git etc).
• Familiarity with CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0.
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of IT experience with 4–6 years in MuleSoft.
• Proven experience in a Lead or Senior Developer role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
