Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, integrate, and verify software applications and tools using Angular JS, JavaScript, NodeJS, and C++

Enhance, optimize, and improve the efficiency and robustness of current software, with a particular focus on OSS integration and telecom functionality

Participate in a complete software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies

Collaborate with multiple development teams, including those working on OSS for system monitoring and operational support

Work with AWS to deploy and manage scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure that supports both telecom and OSS development

Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently with minimal guidance from Tech Leads and Architects

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Min 3-year experience in Full Stack Development including backend technologies JavaScript, NodeJS, and C++ background

Knowledge and experience in real time multi-threaded software development

Proven experience in development under Linux, including telecom-based systems

Proven experience in socket programing, IPC and PUB/SUB architecture

Understanding of the basic networking protocols TCP/UDP/IP and familiarity with VLANs and basic switching and routing concepts

Experience in continuous integration / continuous deployment and test-driven software development

Demonstrated engineering communication expertise including clear and concise written and verbal skills

Experience in cloud native software development concepts is desirable

Understanding and working experience with Docker container and Kubernetes is desirable

Understanding of advanced networking protocols etc is desirable

Experience in the management of OSS tools for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management in telecom and avionics environments

Familiarity with telecom in avionics, including 4G/5G networking and telecom operations support systems is a plus

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel to domestic or international locations as required, up to 5% of the time

Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills

Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure some overlap with US-based teams

Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently with minimal guidance from Tech Leads and Architects

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in computer science/software engineering/electrical engineering or equivalent with 4 years of proven experience in Full stack development including Java Script, Node JS, C++
