Azure Cloud Engineer

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and monitor resources in Azure (VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, etc.)
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Implement security and governance using Azure Policies, RBAC, and Azure AD
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, CLI, or Python
• Monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and migrations to Azure
• Troubleshoot cloud environment issues and ensure high availability and scalability
  

🧠 Required Skills And Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Proficiency in Azure services: Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, App Services, AKS
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking (NSG, VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute), and identity management (Azure AD, MFA)
• Experience with DevOps tools and automation (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform)
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux administration
• Azure Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect certification is a plus

• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
• Exposure to Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and Event Grid
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization (Docker)
• Experience in cost management and resource optimization
• Prior experience in cloud migrations and modernization projects
