Job Description

In your role as a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your main responsibility will be to provide managed services to ensure the operational efficiency of our clients" IT infrastructure and systems. This will involve proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to support our clients effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to catch errors promptly - Investigate first-line incidents, understand their root causes, and follow approved procedures for request fulfilment - Provide telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support - Execute maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes - Identify optimization opportunities for incident resolution and process improvements - Support project work and disaster recovery functions and tests To excel in this role, you should have: - Basic understanding of technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches, and common routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGrP - Highly disciplined in handling tickets on a day-to-day basis - Good understanding of using ITSM tools and processes - Strong planning skills and adaptability to changing environments - A client-focused approach and excellent communication skills - A positive outlook, resilience under pressure, and a bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
