About the Role

We’re looking for a Motion Designer who can create high-impact explainer videos, UI animations, course intros, and short social media clips. You will lead motion design end-to-end—using the latest AI-assisted workflows—and collaborate closely with content, product, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D/2.5D and light 3D motion graphics, animated explainers, and UI animations using Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and complementary tools.
• Design storyboards, animatics, and timing notes based on technical scripts from subject-matter experts.
• Use AI tools to accelerate asset creation, style exploration, lip-sync, rotoscoping, keyframe assistance, and sound design.
• Deliver polished motion reels for YouTube, Instagram, and in-app playback across multiple aspect ratios.
• Work independently—estimate tasks, manage timelines, maintain version control, and ensure smooth project handoffs.
• Build and maintain a reusable asset library, including templates, presets, and AI prompt documentation.

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong expertise in Adobe After Effects.
• A portfolio/reel demonstrating explainer videos, UI animations, or technical storytelling.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in motion workflows (asset generation, automations, AI-assisted cleanup/rotoscoping).
• Strong understanding of timing, motion principles, composition, and typography.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• Comfort delivering source files, documentation, and edit-ready masters.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or lightweight 3D workflows for simple 3D elements or camera moves.
• Skills in Premiere Pro, Audition, or DaVinci Resolve for final assembly and sound mixing.
• Experience in scripting, storyboarding, or voiceover direction.
• Familiarity with Lottie/JSON exports for interactive in-app animations.
