Moodle Developer

As a PHP & Moodle Developer at Medvarsity, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining learning management systems using Moodle and PHP. Your responsibilities will include designing, configuring, branding, and customizing LMS systems. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their skills and gain experience in a dynamic environment by engaging with customers and developing enterprise-level applications based on PHP/Moodle. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in LAMP stack, Linux, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Apache, and Moodle LMS. You must possess a deep understanding of Moodle modules, proficient in customizing Moodle functionalities, and adept at developing custom themes/plugins. Additionally, you should have expertise in integrating plugins, writing new plugins, working with XML data structures, and web services. Experience with MySQL and other RDBMS, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XHTML, Moodle API, and integration with third-party systems is essential. Knowledge of frameworks like Laravel, Zend, Symphony, or WordPress would be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science or Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) is preferred. Your key responsibilities will include designing and building enterprise-level learning management systems, implementing responsive LMS systems, integrating plugins, automating Moodle routines, and processes. You will be required to adhere to Moodle standards, plan API integrations with third parties, analyze user requirements, and provide technical support for Moodle/PHP implementations.
