Mobile Phone Technician

The Mobile Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of smartphones. This includes hardware and software troubleshooting, component replacement, device testing, and delivering quality service to customers. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a service center or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Diagnosis & Troubleshooting

• Identify and diagnose issues in mobile phones including display, battery, charging, network, software, camera, speaker, and motherboard problems.
• Perform tests and use diagnostic tools to detect faults.

2. Repairs & Servicing

• Repair or replace faulty components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, microphones, and internal parts.
• Handle soldering, micro-soldering, and board-level repairs (if experienced).
• Install or update software, firmware, and perform data backups or resets.

3. Customer Interaction

• Communicate problem details, repair timelines, and estimated cost to customers.
• Maintain polite and professional behavior.
• Provide basic guidance on device usage and maintenance.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Record customer complaints and repair details accurately in the service log or CRM system.
• Maintain repair notes, parts used, and service status.
• Generate service reports and update daily tasks.

5. Parts & Inventory Management

• Manage and use spare parts responsibly.
• Inform management about low stock or required parts.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of components.

6. Quality Assurance

• Test devices after repair to ensure 100% functionality.
• Follow service center SOPs and maintain high repair standards.
• Avoid repeat issues by performing thorough quality checks.

7. Equipment Handling

• Use repair tools safely — soldering iron, heat gun, microscope, multimeter, separators, etc.
• Maintain and clean tools regularly to ensure accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Mobile Repairing Course, or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience in mobile phone repair.
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS devices.
• Good understanding of mobile hardware and software systems.
• Ability to perform chip-level or board-level repairs (preferred but optional).
• Basic customer communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve daily repair targets.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
