Mobile Engineer

You will be a valuable addition to our team as a Senior React Native Engineer, responsible for developing robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. Your role will involve close collaboration with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of seamless mobile experiences using modern tools and best practices. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms, working closely with product, design, and backend teams to implement new features and enhancements, writing clean and testable code using TypeScript, optimizing applications for performance and scalability, integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting and fixing bugs and performance issues. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) along with at least 5 years of total professional experience, including 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native in production environments. You should have proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), experience with React.js/Next.js, a solid understanding of mobile app architecture, and experience with performance tuning. Additionally, you should have experience using testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, and React Native Testing Library, proven experience in publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play, familiarity with Firebase and mobile analytics SDKs, Git, and collaborative development workflows. A deep understanding of basic algorithms, familiarity with app performance monitoring tools, and experience in agile development environments are also essential. Fluency in English at a business level is required. Desirable skills include experience working in a CI/CD environment, contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs, and fluency in Japanese at a conversational level.,
