As a React Native Engineer at our company, you will play a critical role in delivering innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions business. Your contribution to the technical direction and execution of our mobile retail banking applications will be essential. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop code that aligns with business goals, ensuring code quality, performance, and security through participation in code reviews. Your technical knowledge and collaborative efforts will drive the success of our retail application projects and contribute to the overall growth of the company. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop mobile applications within the Digital domain, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and regulatory requirements. - Implement scalable, robust, and maintainable mobile application code supporting a wide range of financial services and functionalities. - Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement technical solutions. - Support the transition of Angular Ionic codebase to React Native. - Implement features with quality and ensure critical customer-impacting issues are remediated urgently. - Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Support continuous improvement/delivery initiatives in mobile application development processes, tooling, and automation. - Communicate technical concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders. - Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the FinTech sector. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, particularly within the financial technology (FinTech) domain. - Proficiency in React Native, Angular, and Ionic Capacitor. - Knowledge of secure coding practices, encryption algorithms, and data protection mechanisms relevant to handling sensitive financial data in mobile applications. - Familiarity with APIs and microservices architecture for seamless integration between apps and backend systems. - Experience measuring mobile application performance to enhance the user experience. - Understanding of financial services industry regulations, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS), and security standards related to mobile app development. - Experience collaborating with India-based development teams. - Preferred degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar relevant field. - Understanding of software engineering principles and processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, DevOps) for continuous improvement through measurement.
