Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Appium and CI/CD tools to lead automation efforts across mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep Java proficiency, hands-on experience with TestNG/JUnit, and a solid understanding of the Investment Banking domain to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality testing solutions.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Selenium and Appium.
Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation scope.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, TestNG, and JUnit.
Perform mobile automation testing across Android and iOS platforms, ensuring cross-device compatibility.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution with development teams.
Ensure test coverage for critical workflows in investment banking applications, including trade lifecycle, settlements, and compliance modules.
Participate in code reviews, framework enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document test plans, test cases, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

Strong expertise in Appium and CI/CD tools.
Deep Java proficiency and hands-on experience with TestNG/JUnit.
Solid understanding of the Investment Banking domain.
Experience with mobile automation testing across Android and iOS platforms.
Ability to analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution.
Strong communication skills to document test plans, test cases, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
