About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium for Android and iOS applications.
• Develop scalable and maintainable test scripts in Java integrated with TestNG or JUnit.
• Implement and manage automation builds using Maven for project and dependency management.
• Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality across mobile devices.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, analyze, and resolve bugs and issues early in the development cycle.
• Conduct testing on real devices and simulators, analyzing performance, functionality, and compatibility.
• Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, test results, and defect reports.
• Stay updated with evolving mobile automation tools and best practices to continuously improve framework efficiency.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and test strategy discussions for new features and releases.
  

Required Skillsets

• Strong hands-on experience in Java programming and Appium automation.
• Expertise in Android and iOS testing, including understanding of APKs/IPAs and mobile architecture.
• Proficiency with Maven, TestNG, JUnit, and Git version control.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Good knowledge of REST API testing and integration with automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for mobile test environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on product quality and user experience.
  

Good To Have

• Experience with cloud-based mobile testing tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Basic understanding of performance or security testing for mobile applications.
