We are hiring SMT/ MLB Failure Analysis Engineering.

Job Details:

• Role - SMT / MLB Failure Analysis
• Title :Asst Manager / Deputy Manager
• Experience - 10-18years
• Job Location - Hosur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex failure analysis of MLBs and SMT assemblies using advanced diagnostic tools (X-ray, SEM, ICT, AOI, etc.).
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on field returns, in-process failures, and customer complaints.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.
• Collaborate with design, process, and quality teams to improve product and process robustness.
• Analyze yield trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in failure analysis methodologies and tools.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with industry standards (IPC, ISO, IATF).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in failure analysis within the EMS industry.
• Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB design, and component-level diagnostics.
• Proficient in tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, X-ray, SEM, FIB, and thermal imaging.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721) and quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
