Job Description

What will I be doing

Mixologist

  • Guest Service Excellence

    : Maintain a strong customer focus by proactively resolving issues, communicating clearly, and delivering friendly, timely service to guests.
  • Promotion and Contribution

    : Promote the services and facilities of Hilton hotels and contribute ideas for operational and environmental improvements.
  • Safety and Responsibility

    : Perform duties in a manner that ensures personal safety and the safety of others at the workplace.
  • Beverage Service

    : Serve beverages and/or food in a courteous, professional manner; prepare beverages for servers to deliver and manage cashier duties at the bar.
  • Product Knowledge

    : Have detailed knowledge of the beverage menu and confidently explain options to guests; maintain knowledge of menus in all outlets to assist in guest recommendations.
  • Bar Setup and Maintenance

    : Properly set up the bar daily, requisition and stock all items including beer, wine, spirits, condiments, and garnishes. Prepare fresh fruit, juices, and perishables.
  • Guest Interaction

    : Greet guests warmly, promote drink orders, mix, garnish, and present beverages to standard recipes while practicing portion control.
  • Legal Compliance

    : Check guest identification for legal drinking age, monitor and manage guest inebriation, and comply with liquor laws and licensing regulations.
  • Transaction Management

    : Accurately input orders, create guest checks, manage cash, verify charges, and ensure the proper execution of vouchers.
  • Closing Duties

    : Secure all stock and equipment at the end of the shift, complete cash drops, and ensure bar cleanliness and organization.
  • Service Standards

    : Ensure that all service procedures meet required standards, personally taking responsibility for guest experiences within your designated area.
  • Revenue Generation

    : Maximize revenue through upselling techniques, maintaining high service standards, and applying effective guest engagement strategies.
  • Professional Conduct

    : Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times; avoid offensive or impolite behavior; prioritize guest service and satisfaction.
  • Incident Management

    : Promptly report any accidents or incidents to the Manager.
  • Other Duties

    : Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
