As a Program Manager at our organization in New Zealand, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing multiple interrelated projects to ensure the successful delivery of key business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, managing, and executing program plans that align with the organizational strategy. - Leading and guiding project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive delivery. - Monitoring program progress, milestones, scope, and budget performance. - Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies across projects. - Engaging and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear status updates and insights. - Ensuring program governance, quality assurance, and compliance with company standards. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives that optimize delivery processes and outcomes. - Managing relationships with external vendors, partners, and industry stakeholders as needed. - Preparing executive reports, business cases, and benefit realization assessments. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Proven experience in program management or senior-level project leadership. - Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. - Solid understanding of program governance, budgeting, and reporting frameworks. - Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). - A strategic mindset combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Valid New Zealand work rights. Preferred qualifications and experiences include: - Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or MSP. - Experience in industries such as technology, infrastructure, logistics, finance, or public sector. - Ability to lead organizational change and transformation initiatives.
