Job Description

Collect and compile data from all departments (OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, Billing, HR, etc.).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports (patient volumes, bed occupancy, revenue, expenses).
Develop dashboards and KPIs for management review.
Monitor OPD, IPD, pharmacy, diagnostics, and surgical billing processes.
Ensure accuracy and transparency in patient billing.
Reconcile bills with payments received and pending dues.
Identify discrepancies in billing and resolve issues promptly.
Track daily cash inflow and outflow.
Maintain records of advance deposits, settlements, refunds, and credit patients.
Monitor outstanding collections from patients, TPAs, and insurance companies.
Assist in preparing cashflow forecasts for management.
Implement checks to avoid revenue leakages (underbilling, unrecorded services, waived charges).
Conduct regular audits of billing counters, cash collections, and deposits.
Cross-verify service utilization (doctor consultations, investigations, pharmacy dispensing) against bills raised.
Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs and financial policies.
Ensure accurate data entry in HIS/ERP system.
Support compliance with NABH/JCI accreditation standards.
