Job Description

Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Credit team for a MIS role. The role is responsible for managing credit-related data, preparing reports, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights that support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze Credit MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Track credit portfolio performance, including disbursements, collections, delinquencies, and other KPIs.
  • Generate trend analysis and variance reports to highlight areas of concern and improvement.
  • Ensure timely submission of MIS reports to management through automated workflows
  • Work closely with the Credit, Operations, Business and Risk teams to streamline MIS processes.
  • Manage large data sets using Excel / Python / SQL and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support internal audits and compliance requirements by providing relevant data and reconciliations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve efficiency in MIS preparation.
  • Ability to identify trends, outliers and highlight key observations and insights as needed
  • Good knowledge of LOS/LMS, data lake and data mart, login to disbursement workflows, and understanding of LAP loans
  • Monthly call with Credit team to provide the update on the progress

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of credit processes, NBFC operations
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot tables, LOOKUP Functions, Power Query, etc.); experience with Python / SQL / BI tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to work with large data sets
  • Ability to meet timelines and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Work Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in MIS within an NBFC.
  • Prior experience in an

    MIS role within an NBFC

    is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a similar role (NBFC or Financial Services firm) preferable

Educational Qualification(s):

  • Masters/ Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Statistics, or any relevant stream.
