Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management:

    • Collect, compile, and analyze operational data from various systems.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered into and extracted from the MIS.
    • Maintain and update databases and records regularly.
  2. Reporting:

    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management and other departments.
    • Develop and customize dashboards for real-time data visualization.
    • Identify and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  3. System Maintenance:

    • Monitor the performance of MIS applications and troubleshoot issues.
    • Coordinate with IT teams for software updates and enhancements.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational data policies and security standards.
  4. Process Optimization:

    • Collaborate with departments to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
    • Provide insights based on data analysis to support decision-making.
  5. Support and Training:

    • Train team members on MIS tools and processes.
    • Provide technical support to users as needed.
    • Address queries related to MIS reports and applications.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of experience in an MIS or data analysis role.
    • Familiarity with database management, reporting tools, and data analysis.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems is preferred.
    • Understanding of ERP or other business management software is a plus.
