As a Primary Social Science Facilitator, your role involves delivering engaging and interactive lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental Studies. You will be responsible for encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of social concepts among young learners through innovative teaching methods. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver interactive Social Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum (CBSE/CAIE). - Utilize storytelling, role-playing, and real-life examples to enhance lesson engagement. - Foster inquiry-based learning and facilitate discussions on historical and social topics. - Develop lesson plans incorporating visual aids, activities, and technology-based learning tools. - Evaluate student progress through projects, quizzes, and assignments. - Promote awareness of cultural diversity, sustainability, and civic responsibility. - Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment. - Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary learning. - Communicate with parents regarding student progress and engagement. - Participate in professional development programs and school events. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors or Masters degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or Education. - B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification (preferred). - Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Social Science at the primary level. - Strong storytelling and interactive teaching skills. - Excellent communication and classroom management abilities. - Familiarity with activity-based and experiential learning methods. - Knowledge of technology-integrated teaching tools.
