Mid School mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grade 3 to Grade 8 under the ICSE curriculum. The Middle School Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured math lessons that build strong foundational skills in students. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, design concept-driven lessons, and ensure that students develop confidence and interest in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, well-structured mathematics lessons as per the school curriculum (ICSE).
• Use a combination of real-life examples, activities, board teaching, and audiovisual resources to make concepts clear.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and weekly teaching schedules.
• Conduct regular assessments, class tests, worksheets, and practice exercises.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial sessions or additional support where required.
• Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding.
• Maintain discipline and create an encouraging, student-friendly classroom atmosphere.
• Record and maintain accurate student attendance, marks, and performance reports.
• Prepare question papers, evaluation sheets, and correction work on time.
• Support in exam invigilation and other academic duties.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
• Coordinate with other subject teachers and participate in departmental meetings.
• Work closely with the Academic Coordinator/Principal on syllabus planning and academic goals.
• Participate in school events, competitions, assemblies, and annual functions.
• Support student clubs, math activities, Olympiad preparation, and enrichment programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Maths.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an ICSE-affiliated school
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools will be an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
