Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Functional Consultant (Finance)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting business analysis, solution design, system configuration, implementation, testing, training, deployment, project management, and stakeholder engagement for ERP implementation projects, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365. Your key duties will include requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, customization liaison, data migration support, testing, training, documentation, go-live support, client advisory, project collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand and document current business processes and define future processes. - Conduct fit-gap analysis to compare client requirements with D365 functionalities, documenting gaps and recommending solutions. - Create and maintain functional design documents, process flow diagrams, and solution blueprints. - Collaborate with the technical team to communicate functional requirements for custom development, integrations, and reports. - Assist in mapping and cleansing data for migration into the new D365 system. - Design test scenarios, execute System Integration Testing, and provide support during User Acceptance Testing. - Develop training materials, user manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures. Conduct training sessions for key users and end-users. - Participate in go-live activities, provide post-implementation support, and stabilize the system. - Act as a trusted advisor to the client, guiding them on best practices and effective utilization of D365. - Work closely with Project Managers to define project scope, estimate effort, manage deliverables, and report project status. - Propose future enhancements, process improvements, and roadmaps leveraging D365 suite and Power Platform. Qualifications Required: - X+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant/Analyst on ERP implementation projects, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365. - Deep understanding of core business processes in at least one key area such as Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Sales & CRM, or Field Service.
