Microsoft Dataverse Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Dataverse Professional to design, develop, and maintain solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem—focusing on Dataverse as the core data service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, integrations, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 environments.

You will collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and developers to implement scalable, secure, and high-performance business solutions leveraging Microsoft Dataverse.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, relationships, and business rules within Microsoft Dataverse.
• Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) that leverage Dataverse as the backend.
• Develop and manage automated workflows using Power Automate and integrate with external systems via Dataverse connectors.
• Work with Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engagement) modules that use Dataverse as the underlying data platform.
• Ensure data integrity, security roles, and environment governance across Power Platform solutions.
• Collaborate with solution architects on integration patterns, API connections, and data migration strategies.
• Optimize Dataverse performance through efficient query design, capacity management, and best practices.
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution related to Dataverse solutions.
• Document solution architecture, configurations, and technical procedures.
• Stay current with new features, releases, and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–6 years of experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, or Dynamics 365 CE.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, entity relationships, business rules, and security roles in Dataverse.
• Experience creating Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports connected to Dataverse.
• Proficiency with Power Fx, JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript for extending functionality.
• Understanding of Dataverse Web API and Azure integrations (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, etc.).
• Familiarity with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) using Solutions, Git, and Power Platform Build Tools.
• Knowledge of environment management, Dataverse capacity planning, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Microsoft Certifications such as:
• PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate
• PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
• MB-260: Microsoft Customer Insights (Data)
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, or Dataverse-to-Azure integration.
• Knowledge of Dataverse plug-ins, custom connectors, or PCF controls.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
