The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.
1. Must have a deep understanding of Microfocus platform, with 6-10 years' experience in deploying/building solution using Microfocus on Windows platform.
2. Overall experience of 8+ years in Designing/developing and implementing solutions on Mainframe Technologies.
3. Must have experience in legacy modernization of applications using Microfocus and AWS
4. Well versed with Micro focus Enterprise developer and Enterprise Server
5. Ability to write automation scripts, CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
6. Domain areas: Legacy application, Migration, Insurance and Banking
7. Databases: DB2, IMS DB, SQL Server
8. Languages/Tools/scripts: COBOL (Mainframe Micro Focus), PL/1, CICS, JCL, VSAM, SQL.
9. Collaborate within and cross functional teams to resolve impediments
Drive Continuous improvements Housekeeping/Automation improvements.
Critical thinking, ability to find new solutions
Strong communication skills is a must
