Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Python & API Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will design and develop API-driven applications, work with databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance backend components.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs for application integration and data exchange.

Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for query development and data modeling.

Ensure API performance, scalability, and security using best practices.

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Write reusable, testable, and maintainable code following clean coding principles.

Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and support production deployments.

Integrate third-party APIs and external services as required.

Maintain documentation and participate in code reviews.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.

Strong experience in REST API development using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.

Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL stores.

Experience with Git, API versioning, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of authentication standards such as OAuth2, JWT, etc.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Docker, containerization, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Exposure to API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
