MGR - Android/iOS App Development

As an Android/iOS App Developer at MSIL, your role involves software development in V cycle, as well as testing and debugging. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with MSIL internal business units during the ideation phase to understand requirements and conceptualize solutions for a working prototype. - Conducting technical feasibility studies, including testing trials with data pipe, API of MSIL or MSIL Partner Company/3rd party server interface. - Documenting the concept post-feasibility stage and conducting a joint review with the business unit. - Developing Android/iOS Apps in either native or hybrid mode based on shared/discussed requirements. - Following the Agile development model for rapid prototyping of solutions. - Developing applications from scratch, monitoring and improving performance and quality. - Designing the UI/UX experience. - Presenting and explaining App design to business users with key decision points. In terms of competency requirements, you should have technical/functional skills such as: - Requirement gathering and documentation. - Hands-on experience with App UI development. - App logic/coding (Native or hybrid) in languages like Kotlin, Swift. - App programming using platforms like GIT, Firebase, etc. - Server skills including API development. - Additional skills in Application/Server Engineering (JAVA, MySQL, Angular JS, Node JS), data science, advanced analytics, ML/D.L, map APIs (e.g. Google), and Python programming. On the behavioral side, you are expected to have a positive attitude, be proactive, lead a technical team for App development, manage projects effectively, be a good team player, possess strong communication and presentation skills, take calculated risks for the benefit of MSIL, strive for win-win situations with internal and external customers, study industry trends and apply them in your work area, coordinate department activities, and represent the department/MSIL in forums. To be eligible for this role, you should have: Education: - Essential: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ECE with minimum 60% marks. - Desirable: Knowledge of Telematics System (Automotive IOT) and App development. Experience: - 7 to 10 years of experience. - Minimum 3 years of relevant domain expertise in Telematics (Automotive IOT) Domain.,
