Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Production (Metallurgy Engineer)

Monitor and optimize
seamless tube processes
: piercing, rolling, reheating, cold drawing.
Set and control
heat-treatment cycles
(normalizing, quenching, tempering).
Support production teams in maintaining
process stability and parameter control
.
Troubleshoot
process deviations
that affect material properties.
Coordinate with QA/QC and maintenance to resolve quality or process issues.
Implement
process improvements
to increase yield, reduce defects, and improve consistency.
Ensure
adherence to SOPs
, safety standards, and production targets.

Roles & Responsibilities Quality (Metallurgy Engineer)

Conduct
metallurgical testing
: hardness, tensile, impact, microstructure.
Verify
chemical composition
and mechanical properties of raw materials.
Monitor
NDT results
(UT/RT/ECT) and ensure defect-free tubes/pipes.
Approve product quality as per
API / ASTM / customer specs
.
Investigate
material failures, defects, and rejection causes
.
Ensure proper
heat-treatment quality
and microstructure control.
Maintain QC documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
