Description
Role & responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Supervising the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems. Team Leadership: Leading a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and help desk personnel. Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Strategic Planning: Developing IT strategies and roadmaps that support the organization's objectives. Collaborating with other departments to identify technology needs, prioritize projects, and allocate resources effectively. Security and Compliance: Implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect data, systems, and networks from threats and breaches. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Project Management: Overseeing IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This includes software implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements. Troubleshooting and Support: Resolving technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing technical support to users and stakeholders. Implementing efficient help desk procedures and escalation protocols. Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners. Evaluating vendor performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service level agreements are met. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Team roles, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and completing projects. Strong technical expertise across a range of IT disciplines, including networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, Software Implementation, and cloud computing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for Management. Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements.
