Role Overview

We are looking for a Metallurgical Expert who can support our design, testing, and production teams by deeply understanding metals and their metallurgical behaviors. This role involves evaluating, analyzing, and documenting materials and treatments for components subjected to dynamic and critical loads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and select appropriate metals and alloys based on design requirements and expected load conditions.
• Study and document metallurgical processes, heat treatments, and material properties relevant to high-reliability applications.
• Conduct metallurgical failure analysis and support root cause investigations.
• Prepare and maintain material specifications, process documents, and testing instructions (QAIs).
• Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize material choices for performance and manufacturability.
• Ensure testing and quality processes align with internal standards and project requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy / Materials Engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in applied metallurgy, preferably in heavy engineering or critical mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and surface engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on research and practical application.
• Familiarity with metallurgical lab testing and failure analysis is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Adhartal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
