MES PAS-X Administrator / Support Engineer

About the Role:

MES PAS-X Administrator / Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain

  master data

  within PAS-X including materials, equipment, recipes, and parameters.
• Administer

  user roles, access controls, and authentication

  within the MES environment.
• Integrate PAS-X with

  peripheral systems

  such as Scales, Printers, L2 automation systems,

  LIMS

  ,

  SAP ERP

  , and other enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrate

  knowledge of MBRs (Master Batch Records)

  for configuration and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues, ensuring

  system performance, data integrity

  , and minimal downtime.
• Provide

  Level 2/3 support

  and coordinate with vendors for escalations and issue resolution.
• Apply pharmaceutical manufacturing process knowledge to

  optimize MES configurations and workflows

  .
• Support

  validation activities

  including IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and execution.
• Ensure MES operations are compliant with

  GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards

  .
• Perform

  backup, restoration

  , and disaster recovery readiness tasks to maintain data integrity.
• Conduct periodic

  system health checks

  , prepare

  audit documentation

  , and support inspections.
• Manage

  server and client system installations

  and related maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with

  PAS-X / Werum / Krber MES systems

  .
• Strong understanding of

  pharmaceutical manufacturing processes

  and

  GMP regulations

  .
• Proficiency in

  SQL / MSSQL

  for data queries, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating

  LIMS, SAP ERP

  , and automation systems.
• Strong

  problem-solving, analytical

  , and

  communication

  skills.
• Experience in

  system validation, backup management,

  and

  performance tuning

  .

Good to Have:

• Experience with

  MBR design or configuration

  .
• Exposure to

  21 CFR Part 11

  compliance.
• Vendor coordination and multi-site support experience.
