MERN Stack Developer

Play A Sport is an initiative to amalgamate Sports with Technology and create an online platform to build more room for the sports community. Play A Sport will be an application through which a user will be able to access a Sport of his or her choice and be able to play or learn the same.

Job Title: MERN Stack Developer (1–2 Years’ Experience)

Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Rs. 20000 to 25000 per month

About the Role
We’re looking for a MERN Stack Developer who can build, maintain, and enhance web applications with clean, efficient code. You should be comfortable working across the full stack and contributing within a collaborative team environment. If you’ve completed at least two real-world projects and understand how to ship production-ready features, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Write clean, reusable, and scalable code
• Integrate APIs and third-party services
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and deployment challenges
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Follow best practices in version control, documentation, and team processes

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
• Solid understanding of React.js
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs
• Ability to work in a team and deliver within timelines
• Must have completed at least 2 real-world projects

Additional Advantages (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Next.js
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Understanding of deployment platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, etc.)
