Job Title: MERN Developer

Job Overview:

The Software Developer will be a key member of a DevOps team responsible for designing, building, and unit testing web-based applications. These applications support internal software systems that automate the design and deployment of AT&Ts mobility services and network functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create test cases to automate workflows using

   JEST.

2. Collaborate with requirements engineers to design and implement web application components.
3. Document designs and review them with the team.
4. Test implementations for defects before submitting the code.
5. Review test cases prepared by the QA team and provide feedback.
6. Assist the test team with defect resolution during testing.
7. Guide the QA team in building tools for test automation.
8. Create and update Jira tickets.
9. Participate in deployment decisions.
10. Support the user community of the application.
11. Engage in design discussions and daily scrum meetings.
    

Critical Skills (in priority order):

1. Proficiency in

   JEST

   JavaScript testing framework.

2. 7+ years

   of experience in web application development using the

   MERN/MEAN stack

   , including:

   HTML5/CSS3, React and Angular frameworks, Node.js and similar frameworks, MongoDB

3. 7+ years

   of experience with CSS preprocessors and transpilers such as

   SCSS

   and

   LESS

   .
4. Expertise in using

   Git

   ,

   Jira

   , and other development management tools.
5. Solid understanding of various

   data formats

   (JSON, YAML, etc.).
6. Strong grasp of

   software testing principles

   .
