Role Overview

Retail Planner / Merchandise Planner

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage
seasonal merchandise plans, OTB budgets, and sales forecasts
Plan and monitor
inventory levels, stock cover, sell-through, and WOS
Analyze
sales, stock, and margin performance
across categories and store clusters
Drive
assortment planning
and replenishment strategies for offline stores
Identify risks and opportunities through
MIS, dashboards, and performance reports
Automate and enhance
Excel-based planning and reporting tools
Partner with Buying & Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of plans
Support business reviews with actionable insights and recommendations

Candidate Profile

5–7 years of experience in
Retail Planning / Merchandise Planning
Strong exposure to
OTB planning, demand forecasting, inventory management
Advanced
Excel skills
(Pivot, Lookups, Power Query preferred)
Experience handling
offline retail / store-based planning
Strong analytical mindset with commercial acumen
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
