Merchandiser

We're looking for a dedicated and motivated apparel merchandiser for a fast-growing buying office in Okhla, New Delhi, working with leading global fashion brands, available to join immediately.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Active daily communication with quality, design, and sourcing teams of international buyers.

2. Independently handling American, European, and Australian buyers, coordinating submissions, samples, and orders from factories and artisan communities.

3. Responsible for maintaining on-time delivery, high quality, and client satisfaction.

4. Sourcing from artisan communities and organic mills.

5. Acting as an expert who offers buyers sustainability solution’s

6. ⁠ creating sustainable product catalogs for new buyers

7. Market research

Experience and Skills

• Strong written English communication skills and the ability to handle a heavy daily email load.

• Professional knowledge of GSuite.

• Highly organized, with strong WIP management and follow-up skills.

• Detail-oriented and open to learning about sustainability quickly on the job.

• At least 6 to 10 years of experience working in a buying office or directly with buyers at a factory.

•Prior experience working with an artisan organization, sustainability consultancy, and/or an NGO is required. Candidates with experience, knowledge, or expertise in partnering with artisan Communities, Working in fabric-based artisan crafts, or working with organic, regenerative, and Other sustainable textiles will be given first preference.

• Experience in creating presentations and design collections, and marketing to direct buyers.

• Product expertise in woven women’s wear.

Education

• A degree in apparel merchandising or apparel design.
• Knowledge of sustainable and artisan-made fabrics is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,010.46 - ₹48,862.22 per month
