Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser at our company based in Gurgaon, your primary role will involve coordinating with the design department to develop new samples according to buyer requirements on a daily basis. You will be responsible for maintaining order and samples files, as well as coordinating and dispatching samples to buyers and buying agencies. Vendor management and sourcing of products or raw materials will also be key aspects of your job. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with the design department for the development of new samples as per buyer requirements - Maintain order and samples files - Coordinate and dispatch samples to buyers and buying agencies - Manage vendors effectively - Source products or raw materials - Ensure timely and smooth execution of orders - Handle buyer meetings and understand their product needs, target price, and quality requirements - Cost products and send photo offers to customers - Coordinate sampling with factories and outside vendors to ensure on-time and quality shipments - Maintain spec sheets for samples - Have good knowledge of measurements Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication skills - Computer literacy - Good product knowledge, especially of fabric and fabric work (weaving, stitching, embroidery, beadwork, printing, etc.) - Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising Location: Gurgaon, Haryana. Candidates from Gurgaon will be preferred. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at our Gurgaon office.,
