Job Description

• Sourcing, assessing and selecting high-end stones and suppliers, enhancing the effectiveness of purchasing workflow
• Negotiate with vendors on price, terms and conditions and conclude contracts
• Responsible for the required training to enhance the skill-set, know-how and expertise of the teammates, if required
• Review and assess the price, quality, and delivery date of suppliers
• Monitor the performance of the existing vendors to ensure the quality of the materials
• Coordinate with management as & when required
• Coordinate with the inventory department for data management
• Grading and sorting of Gemstones to determine the price of Sapphires, emeralds, ruby etc.
• Knowledge of jewelers loop and microscope.
• Gem & Jewlery course will be an added advantage.
