Job Title: Designer cum Merchandiser – Women’s Western Wear

Location: Gurgaon (Coworking Space) | Travel to Factory in Delhi as Required
Type: Full-time

We are seeking a (FEMALE) Designer cum Merchandiser to join our growing women’s western wear brand. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual ready to be the first joinee at our new Gurgaon location. You will play a pivotal role in setting up operations at this location, with a team to be built in the coming weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Conceptualize and create trend-driven collections for women’s western wear. Work on prints, patterns, and garment styles that align with our brand vision.
• Merchandising: Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer preferences to guide product launches. Maintain and manage a product calendar to ensure timely launches.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborate with existing suppliers and onboard new vendors. Visit vendors for sampling and oversee processes during the production stage to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Travel to Factory: Visit the factory in Delhi when required to oversee sampling, production, and quality control.
• Team Building: Be an integral part of setting up operations at the Gurgaon location, with the opportunity to influence the hiring of future team members.
• Quality Control: Ensure all samples and final products meet our quality and design standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in women’s apparel design or merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in women’s fashion.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a startup-like environment.
• Willingness to travel to the factory in Delhi and visit vendors during sampling and production stages.

Pay: ₹20,000 - ₹32,000 per month
