Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with buyers and design teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Manage product development lifecycle including sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and factories for timely sample development and approvals.
• Prepare and monitor product costing, negotiate prices with vendors to meet target margins.
• Track sample submissions, maintain records, and ensure compliance with buyer quality standards.
• Monitor timelines and ensure on-time delivery of development samples.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, production, quality) to resolve issues.
• Analyze market trends and suggest product ideas to strengthen the product line.
• Maintain buyer relationships by providing regular updates on product status.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product development merchandising (preferably in Knits).
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and costing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and product tracking tools.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
