Responsibilities and Accountability: · Analyse nearly finished product samples daily for quality, durability, safety, and adherence to known product specifications before the final stage of production. · Evaluate materials routinely used during production and conduct specific quality tests to ensure product integrity. · Investigate in-house problems related to product quality or performance by thoroughly examining all parts of the production process. · Document quality assurance practices by accurately recording data in logbooks, computer databases, and inventory records. · Ensure compliance with state and local regulations throughout the production schedule. · Periodically assess quality assurance strategies to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement, aiming to minimize production interruptions. · Proficient in liaising with external vendors for PP/Size set/Shipment sample approvals. · Extensive experience with woven and knit fabrics, gained from working in garment manufacturing facilities. · Thorough understanding of fabric and stitching defects, coupled with strong problem-solving and communication skills for vendor interactions. · Comprehensive knowledge of trims and accessories. · Conduct inline inspections, pre-final audits, and final inspections.
