Job Description

MEP Quantity Surveying (QS) Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed

    BOQs

    ,

    cost estimates

    , and

    rate analyses

    for all MEP services including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
  • Evaluate tenders, conduct technical and commercial comparisons, negotiate with vendors/contractors, and support procurement finalization.
  • Verify and certify contractor bills, variations, extra item claims, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Track project budgets and support

    value engineering

    initiatives to optimize cost without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, planning, and project execution teams for MEP-related documentation, approvals, and implementation.
  • Maintain all QS documentation including reports, measurement sheets, contract documents, and project records.
  • Ensure adherence to approved budgets, timelines, and cost-control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Mandatory hands-on experience in

    MEP Quantity Surveying for real estate projects

    .
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, estimation methodologies, tendering processes, and billing procedures.
  • Proficiency in

    AutoCAD

    ,

    MS Excel

    , and QS-related software tools.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, measurement, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
