MEP Project Engineer

Role Overview: MEICON is seeking a MEP Engineer specializing in Civil, Electrical, and Communication for their fast-growing team. As an MEP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the execution of Highrise Residential Projects across India, offering significant opportunities for career development. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review quantity estimates for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems. - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict compliance with contract specifications and quality standards. - Review contractor shop drawings and material proposals, ensuring proper coordination with structural and electrical disciplines. - Develop and manage detailed MEP construction schedules, including two-week and monthly look-aheads. - Lead coordination between clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely provision of site utilities and resources. - Oversee procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with technical requirements. - Facilitate site meetings, issue technical clarifications, and proactively resolve construction and coordination issues. - Monitor contractor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays. - Supervise commissioning, testing, and handover of MEP works, ensuring proper documentation and client training. - Manage defect resolution during the liability period, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. - 6-8 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in high-rise residential projects. - Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction project management software. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems, coordination practices, and industry standards. - Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong organizational skills. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.,
