Company: The Solitaire Group Location: Ayodhya Experience: 5-10 years (Hotel project experience preferred) Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Job Description Role Overview: The Solitaire Group is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer for our prestigious hotel project in Ayodhya. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and quality control of HVAC, fire fighting, electrical, plumbing, and ELV systems. You will coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, fire fighting, electrical, plumbing, and ELV systems. Review vendor/supplier proposals and verify equipment specifications. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and approved drawings. Troubleshoot and resolve MEP issues on-site, escalating as necessary. Prepare and submit project reports, progress updates, and quality documentation. Review MEP drawings and specifications in coordination with the MEP Head. Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety, and sustainability norms. Assess system designs for efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and vendors for seamless MEP integration. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and material procurement. Conduct regular inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for cost-effective solutions. Review BOQs, technical proposals, and tender documents. Supervise system testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP services. Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for defects or inefficiencies. Required Qualifications & Skills B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 510 years of experience in MEP engineering (hotel/commercial projects preferred). Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV, and sustainability standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, or similar software. Project management and coordination skills. Familiarity with building codes and fire safety norms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
