Job Summary:

MEP Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, and design documents for high-rise buildings.

* Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and civil teams to ensure MEP integration within the overall design.

* Manage on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of MEP systems including HVAC, fire protection, electrical, water supply, drainage, and BMS systems.

* Should and must from the local state having good communication skills

* Supervise MEP subcontractors and ensure work is executed as per project timelines and quality standards.

* Prepare and track MEP-related project schedules, material submittals, and work progress reports.

* Monitor compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project-specific guidelines.

* Conduct technical reviews, inspections, and resolve on-site engineering issues.

* Evaluate contractor performance and manage project budgets for MEP scope.

* Attend coordination meetings and interface with clients, consultants, and authorities.

* Support procurement of MEP materials, ensuring alignment with design and specifications.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.

* 4 to 8 years of relevant MEP experience in high-rise building construction.

* Solid knowledge of MEP design standards, systems integration, and construction practices.

* Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera, and other relevant software.

* Strong understanding of local and international codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC).

* Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes:

* Experience working with reputed construction firms or developers.

* Exposure to green building concepts.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
