Mep Engineer

Role & responsibilities

You are Responsible for
Installation Oversight:

Plan and manage the physical installation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems on site.

Coordination:

Liaise with project managers, architects, contractors, and other site workers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with the overall construction.

Quality Control:

Perform regular site inspections to monitor installation progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and verify the quality of work.

Technical Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process, providing solutions and guidance to site staff.

Code Compliance:

Ensure that all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and energy regulations.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, installation records, and manuals after maintenance work is completed.

Budget & Schedule Management:

Assist in managing project schedules and budgets related to MEP installations.

Assist in planning and executing operational projects related to warehouse/ darkstores setup, process optimization, and fulfillment.
Coordinate with internal teams (Design, procurement, EHS, Ops etc) to ensure smooth project execution.Track project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies using project management tools.Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing projects.Help identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.Participate in vendor coordination and site visits when required.Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Project Planning & Execution: Ability to define scope, set goals, develop timelines, and manage resources.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Budgeting & Cost Control: Managing financial aspects of projects to ensure profitability and efficiency.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Using metrics and KPIs to guide project direction and evaluate success.

Drawings , site execution and hands on experience of greenfield and brownfield projects.

Skilled in MEP installations and design.

About the Role
Basic understanding of warehouse operations, Infra project management.Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, EHS, procurement, and Bizfin.Open to feedback and continuous improvement.Hands on experience in MEP services, electrical , mechanical , electro-mechanical , ELV installations.
