Design and implement MEP systems for new and existing buildings, ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment across the facility.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, and backup power systems.
Lead and manage MEP projects from concept to completion, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
Coordinate with Consultants, Project managers, Contractors, and Vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets and quality standards.
Prepare and review project plans, timelines, and cost estimates to ensure alignment with company goals.
Oversee commissioning, testing, and start-up activities to ensure all electrical systems operate as intended.
Ensure all electrical systems meet local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for hazard mitigation to ensure a safe working environment.
Recommend and implement energy-saving solutions and upgrades to improve facility efficiency.
Monitor and analyze electrical consumption data to identify areas for improvement.
Work towards sustainable energy solutions that reduce environmental impact.
Collaborate with other engineering teams, maintenance staff, and external contractors to execute electrical system installations and upgrades.
Provide technical guidance and support to facility staff and ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.
Participate in design reviews, meetings, and presentations as required by the project team or senior management.
Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and modifications.
Prepare regular reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and project progress.
Ensure proper documentation for all electrical designs and changes to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or civil engineering with an experience of 5-7 years or with a completion of Diploma Engineering with an experience of 10 12 Years in electrical engineering discipline, with a focus on both facility maintenance and project execution.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems, Plumbing, and HVAC
Hands-on experience with electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting in commercial, industrial, or other facilities.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, or similar).
Experience in managing electrical projects, including budget and resource management.
Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and standards.
Familiarity with energy efficiency, sustainability practices, and renewable energy systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
